HILLSIDE ANNOUNCEMENTS
1. Congrats to the junior choir members and Mrs. Barb Hatch, they placed first in Provincials on Friday and were nominated to participate in Nationals. Fantabulous!!
2. The Town of Valleyview is forming a beautification committee and would like a Hillside student to be a part of it they will meet one evening per month. If interested see Mrs. Wood.
3. Blue Quills is currently recruiting prospective Aboriginal students for the B.Ed. transfer program (Years 1 & 2 of B.Ed.) and ATEP (Years 3 & 4) for the Fall 2012 term. Anyone who may be interested in applying, please contact Mrs. Boman. A career in teaching is rewarding and Aboriginal teachers are an added advantage for schools.
4. Youth Ball Hockey drop in at the Polar Palace runs May 7, 14, 28 , June 4, 11, 18 & 25 from 3:30-4:45. Cost is $2/person. Bring sticks!
5. 2012 Yearbook orders are now being taken at the office. Cost is $40 and the deadline is May 31, 2012. Please see Mrs. Grotkowski
